Training
Our entire team are completely professional and fully qualified. Regardless of a persons experience or qualifications, when they join our company they embark on a tailored training programme, benefitting from the very highest levels of training available.
As part of our training policy we also provide ongoing training for all of our staff and are 100% committed to improving all Stones Scaffolding employees skills and safety knowledge. This level of training is regularly evaluated and ongoing bespoke individual training programmes are put in place for each employee.
We also offer internal training courses for all of our employees, which include: asbestos awareness, safety awareness, working at heights, use of harnesses and manual handling.
Regular assessments of all staff are carried out, ensuring that they are fully qualified and competent in carrying out the tasks they are assigned to perform. In addition, all of our managers, supervisors and operatives are CSCS registered.
All training is recorded and copies of training records can be provided upon request.
Health & Safety
Safety is at the very heart of our business and we are 100% committed to providing and maintaining the safest possible workplace for our staff and any others who may be affected by our projects.
Our skilled, qualified and experienced workforce are trained to meet CITB standards and all relevant employees hold CISRS scaffold cards along with CSCS Health and Safety certification. Our supervisory staff members constantly monitor our sites and employees, making sure that they provide a single point of contact throughout any project.
Health and safety is rigorously adhered to at all times and we ensure that there is full compliance with all relevant Health & Safety legislation. We are advised and trained by an external Health and Safety company and all staff receive ongoing training to ensure they are not only aware of this legislation, but also that the legislation is followed and that sound working practices are maintained at all times.
Bespoke, site-specific method statements and risk assessments are prepared and submitted for approval prior to all works being started. All of our site personnel are issued with all necessary items of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) to carry out works on site safely.
All our supervisory staff and charge hand foreman scaffolders are fully qualified to inspect and hand over completed scaffolds. We also offer a service to complete weekly scaffold inspections on your behalf.
We are always striving to improve our service and provide a safer working environment for all to be involved in. To this end Stones Scaffolding are members of both SAFEcontractor and CHAS, achieving accreditation with both organisations following assessment of our Health & Safety practices.
